Community Outreach & Charity Initiatives

At Dr. Klosterman's office, we believe strongly in giving back to the community and caring for the eyes of all those in need.  Outreach programs represent an opportunity to show the community the level of commitment Dr. Klosterman and his staff have to their community. 

Dr. Klosterman's Service:

Harrodsburg Lions Club (Member and Club Optometrist for donated eye examinations, our eyeglass recycling and donation programs, and oversight of Club vision screenings since 2006; Served as Club President 2008-2009 & 2009-2010)

Kentucky Vision Project (Mercer County's Optometrist for donation of eye exams and eyeglasses to those in need in Mercer County)

Optometrist Representative to the Mercer County Board of Health (Serving since 2008)

Free Vision Screenings at Mercer and Burgin Elementary

Free Vision Screenings/Ocular Health advice at Corning and Wausau Paper Health Fairs

Mercer County Chamber of Commerce (Member since 2006)

Harrodsburg First (Member since 2006, Served on the Board of Directors from 2007-2009)

Fort Harrod Beef Festival Planning Committee 2009-present

Mercer County Chamber of Commerce "Leading Mercer County" Steering Committee 2011- present

Community Advancement Partnership Pedestrian Pathways Committee Chairman 2011-present
